Description from the seller
Beautiful and exceptionally complete 3-piece French Art Deco dressing table set (garniture de toilette) dating from the 1920s–1930s. This elegant vanity set includes a lidded powder box, a perfume bottle with its original glass stopper, and a perfume atomizer (scent bottle spray) with its metal hardware.
The set is crafted from clear, heavy pressed glass featuring a sharp, geometric faceted design that catches the light beautifully. The glass is hand-decorated with a striking modernist abstract pattern of bold red bands and fine blue geometric lines, perfectly embodying the avant-garde (Cubist) influences of the Interwar period.
Unique markings and factory codes on the reverse:
Each piece features rare and highly specific embossed factory marks on the bottom, confirming its authenticity and historical significance:
Powder puff box: Embossed with "Made in France, KF 1220" (the specific model number for the jar).
Perfume bottle & Atomizer: Both bottles are embossed with "Bottle made in France, KF 1204" (the catalog model number for the bottles). The English inscription "Bottle made in France" indicates that these flacons were originally produced for the international export market (such as the UK or USA).
