The LEGO Star Wars Captain Rex Helmet (set 75349) was released in March 2023.
For those who follow the Star Wars Helmet Collection: this helmet belongs to Captain Rex, the famous Clone Commander of the 501st Legion from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. This makes it one of the few helmets in the collection that comes from the animated series and the prequel era, while most other helmets are based on characters from the films. A striking piece indeed for anyone who collects the entire helmet collection.
The set consists of 854 pieces and contains no minifigures; it is purely a display model. The design comes from LEGO designer César Soares, the same designer as for several other helmets in the series.
As for the model itself: a brick-built replica of Captain Rex's helmet with the recognizable painted details, delivered with a stand and a nameplate.
The Helmet Collection is explicitly designed as a display set for adult collectors. Not a playset, but a centerpiece for the shelf or desk. Looks nice next to the other helmets in the collection.
