Bronze balance weights from Nuremberg, dating to 1800–1850, in patinated bronze with a bull-head handle, consisting of four nested cups inside a container, 8 cm high, 5 cm wide, 5 cm deep, and weighing 380 g; origin Bavaria, Germany; used with age-related wear but in good condition.

Bronze weight stack from Nuremberg, diameter 5 cm, height 8 cm to the top of the handle. Dating to the 18th–19th century, this historic instrument was used to weigh precious coins such as gold and silver and for pharmaceutical uses. Consisting of several cup weights ("nest of weights") nested one inside the other within a container. Comprised of 4 cups and a measuring container, it features a handle in the shape of a bull's head. This particular model was favored among spice merchants and pharmacists for its small size.
Despite signs of wear testifying to its past, this object remains a splendid testament to the past and at the same time a valuable antique piece of great decorative value, distinctive and collectible. In original antique patina.
