Sweet box made with red and gold enamel on cut glass.
Enameling performed by hand on a press with subsequent firing in a kiln.
Three decorations in gold:
- a circular line of gold on the base
- a circular line of gold on the lid
- a central satin gold band about 3 cm high with floral embroidery.
For the gold decorations, 24 kt liquid gold was brushed onto glass paste and fired in a high-temperature furnace to render it permanent.
