Description from the seller

Elegant Luigi XVI sideboard from Piedmontese production, made in the early years of the nineteenth century, a testament to that late production that continued to reproduce the refined stylistic motifs of the previous century.

Built entirely in solid walnut, it features legs carved from a single block of wood and refined inlays in boxwood, a wood widely used in Piedmontese cabinetmaking. The bronze knobs open a practical upper drawer and a lower, more capacious compartment. Inside is still the original hardware with a beautiful antique patina. Thanks to its compact dimensions and its sober yet sophisticated line, it can establish a distinctive presence in classic, modern, or contemporary environments, easily fitting into living rooms, bedrooms, entrances, or waiting areas.

Seller's Story

I have always been passionate about our past, knowing it is the only thing that does not cease the connection between what is and what was. When I reached the right age I understood that my passion had to coincide with my work and so I opened a business. The key principles are quality and love towards the customer. Francesco Secondo
