RIO Tiel - gesigneerd met initialen J U - Jar (4) - 0301 rookset - Tin - Constructivism

Beautiful Art Deco tin smoking set in good condition; the lid and tray have a few dents along the edge, see the last photo's. It is stamped on the underside with the RIO Tiel mark, model number 0310, and the initials U J. The pieces are decoratively constructed in a constructivist style with bars and balls on the pots, and the lid handle on top. The tray is simply smooth but belongs to this set. The pot dates from the early 1920s, when this was very fashionable. Shipped by registered mail.
