Superb Art Nouveau vase from the famous Gustave De Bruyn faience factory in Fives-Lille, France, circa 1900
This model, reference 1461, marked under the base with the anchor and the initials < DB >, features a remarkable decor of stylized poppies in relief on a deep olive-green background. The sinuous stems and the powder-pink flowers perfectly illustrate the naturalist aesthetic of Art Nouveau.
