We present an exclusive GOM rug from India, a true collector’s piece, 100% handmade, dating roughly from 1950–1960, crafted with exceptionally high-quality materials and outstanding workmanship.
This elegant rug has been woven with fine kork wool (top-quality cork wool) and delicate silk details on a cotton base, offering a soft, silky touch, as well as an extremely compact, heavy, and durable structure.
The rug features approximately 360,000 knots per square meter (6x6 knots), a characteristic trait of high-quality GOM rugs made following the traditional Oriental classical craftsmanship. (Catawiki)
