Collection of Vintage Card Games - Tarot, Lexicon, Grimaud & Punch - France, 20th Century
Important diverse lot including several classic and special card games, representative of European production (mainly French) from the mid to late 20th century. The set is ideal for a collector or for decoration.
The lot includes notably:
1 Tarot deck (78 cards): Presented in its original green case. Essential for practicing French Tarot.
Punch brand games: Several 54-card (Deluxe) decks and a 32-card deck (Belote/Manille) in their original red and white cases.
Lexicon (word-forming game): One copy of the famous word-forming game by Miro, with its characteristic orange box and its rules booklet.
Classic Grimaud / Ducale games: Several 32- and 54-card decks featuring traditional French portraits (kings, queens, traditional jacks).
Themed and promotional games: One game with a fish-illustrated back (marine fauna) and games with geometric and heraldic backs (fleur-de-lis).
Accessories: Rigid plastic storage boxes and a two-compartment transport box.
Condition
Cards: Very good overall condition. The figures are clear, colors remain vivid. Some edges may show a natural patina from use.
Cases: Used condition. Some handling marks on the cardboard boxes (notably the Tarot), which is normal for items from this era.
