Attributed to Saint-Louis - Drinking service (24) - Caton - Crystal

Caton model glassware service attributed to Saint-Louis manufactory, one of the most iconic and historic collections of French crystal, characterized by wide ribbed cut and a baluster base. Originally created in 1877, this model is valued for its sturdiness and timeless design, still today a pillar of Saint-Louis production.
The glasses carry no signature, as the manufactory did not apply its mark before 1937.
Features a bowl with a series of hand-cut facets that give brilliance to the crystal, with a baluster knot above the circular stem base.
The service typically includes several sizes for water, wine, cordial glasses and flutes.
The service consists of 24 pieces:

6 Wine, approx. 12.5x7.8 cm
6 Liqueur, approx. 10x5.8 cm
6 Flute, approx. 16.5x6.5 cm
