This Zeiss Ikon Contina rangefinder analog camera is a refined masterpiece of German mechanical precision, produced in the 1950s. Famous for its reliability and compactness, this model embodies the elegance of vintage design, featuring a robust chrome metal body paired with a black coating. On the front, the Zeiss Ikon and Contina marks are clearly engraved on the metal plates. The device is equipped with an integrated fixed-focal-length lens f=45mm, surrounded by the original rings for manual adjustment of shutter speeds and aperture. On the top cap are the accessory shoe, the film-advance lever, and the shutter speed ring, all elements that offer a purely mechanical shooting experience. The optical element appears clean and well integrated into the camera body. The lot includes its splendid and valuable original brown rigid leather case, with shoulder strap and visible stitching in excellent condition. The entire set shows excellent overall cosmetic condition, with minimal and normal signs of wear that enhance its history.
