Antique French copper fish kettle from the 19th century or older, also known as poissonniere.
Beautiful patina with a wrought-iron handle.
Originally used for cooking or steaming whole fish.
The inside was tin-plated, and there are still traces of tinning present.
Height with handle: 28 cm, length: 67 cm.
Will be shipped well packed.

Antieke Franse koperen visketel uit de 19e eeuw of ouder, ook wel poissonniere genoemd.
Fraai patina met smeedijzeren hengsel.
Werd oorspronkelijk gebruikt voor het koken of stomen van hele vissen.
De binnenkant was vertind, er zijn nog sporen van vertinning aanwezig.
Hoogte met hengsel 28 cm, lengte 67 cm.
