Description from the seller
AUSTRIA. 100 Schilling. 1978.
- Value: 100 Schilling.
- Year: 1978.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: 1878 · 100-YEAR-JUBILÄUM DER STADTERHEBUNG VON GMUNDEN. Reverse: REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH · 100 SCHILLING.
- Grade: Proof.
Commemorative coin of large format dedicated to the centennial of Gmunden's elevation to a city, with a detailed architectural depiction of the central historic building on the obverse, in a sober style with clean lines. The reverse shows a stylized eagle in a modern design, accompanied by the face value highlighted in geometric typography. The specimen features contrast between fields and reliefs, with partially reflective surfaces and some marks visible on the fields, yet preserving an overall attractive and characteristic presence of late 20th-century Austrian commemorative issues.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
