Beautiful antique Limoges porcelain dish, marked on the underside with R.L. Limoges France. The dish dates from circa 1890–1910 and was produced in Limoges, the famous French center for high-quality hard-paste porcelain.

The decoration depicts a atmospheric nature and hunting scene with partridges/quails and chicks in a landscape setting. The portrayal is richly worked with fine brushwork, warm browns, soft greens, and a deep dark-green background area. The composition is additionally signed in the scene.

The dish has an elegant oval shape with a scalloped edge, subtle relief details, and a gold-colored edge finish. The piece has the refined look that Limoges porcelain around the turn of the century was so beloved for: decorative, naturalistic and technically crafted. Supplied with the illustrated stand.

Fraai antiek Limoges-porseleinen schaal, gemerkt aan de onderzijde met R.L. Limoges France. De schaal dateert uit de periode circa 1890–1910 en is vervaardigd in Limoges, het beroemde Franse centrum voor hoogwaardig hard-paste porselein.

De decoratie toont een sfeervolle natuur- en jachtscène met patrijzen/kwartels en kuikens in een landschappelijke setting.
