Description from the seller

Splendid and elegant vintage wall mirror in Neoclassical/Empire style, dating to the late 19th/early 20th century.
The piece stands out for its characteristic "à la corde" design, with a faux rigid brass tie-rod that elongates the structure upward, culminating in a large palmette-decorated loop.
The oval frame is richly worked in cast brass with openwork decorations: acanthus leaf motifs on the sides, chased studs and palmette finials (top and bottom) with a dramatic, scenographic impact.
A classy piece of furniture, perfect to enhance an entryway, a salon above a console, or to give character to a modern and eclectic setting.

Condition: more than good, small stain on the mirror as shown in the photo
