Formia - Vase - Glass

Murano glass vase from the famous company Formia - Murano Glass. Founded in 1962 by the Mian and Ferro families, Formia has been one of the most important and active Murano furnaces. The piece combines a glossy/opaque black glass body with a bold submerged ('sommerso') effect or with the inclusion of graniglia and white/silvered glass powder on the base and outer sides, creating a high-impact monochrome contrast.
