Rare and impressive Eastern Mediterranean / Near Eastern cultural bronze amuletic spiked warrior ring, late Antique period.
The ring has a large circular loop, a rounded bulbous bezel with a prominent projecting spike. Linear decorations on the bezel, plain ring band.
Outside diameter: ± 30,7 mm
Bezel diameter: ± 31,8 mm maximum
Total length: ± 66,7 mm (ring band - tip spike)
Condition:
Very good preserved condition. Olive-green to brown shiny patina with areas of cuprite and malachite patina. The main form remains well preserved, with minor surface irregularities and signs of wear consistent with age and use.
