A large Chinese famille rose porcelain charger, Yongzheng period, Qing dynasty, 18th Century.

The dish is finely enamelled in famille rose colours with an elegant lady and attendant in a garden setting, beside a spotted deer, rockwork, pine and architectural details. The cavetto and rim are decorated with floral panels, peony sprays and scrolling borders.
