Two handmade cushions from Italy in the Dedar 'Under Way' design, new and unused, each 50×50 cm with a 7 cm depth and cushion stuffing included.
Description from the seller
2 beautiful cushions handmade with Dedar fabric "Under Way 1963" (ref. T250460/001).
The fabric "Under Way 1963" made in collaboration with The Josef & Anni Albers Foundation. A line “that winds without a destination,” to quote Albers, on a jacquard fabric composed of an ensemble of threads, weaves and colors. The wool thread improvises its trajectory on a cotton satin fabric and on jute warp, tracing a motif suspended between calligraphy and a carefree stroll. The thick boucle-woven wool yarn, created with the cut-s tissue technique, together with the vibrant color palette and a skilled technique confers a three-dimensionality to an image that can be interpreted as a painting. The pronounced tactile aspect recalls the charm of hand weaving. .
Front composition: 31% VI, 28% CO, 19% JU, 15% WO, 4% AC, 3% PL
Back composition: 60% VI, 16% LI, 13% CO, 6% PL, 5% AC
Measurements: 50x50 cm +/-5%
