5 Mils coin in a base alloy with the characteristic central hole, a distinctive feature of the British Mandate emissions in Palestine. The design features a stylized wreath of branches on the obverse and the face value in three languages —English, Hebrew and Arabic— reflecting the complex administrative and cultural reality of the territory. The reliefs are well defined with little wear, preserving full details in leaves and typography. Representative specimen of the last issues prior to the end of the Mandate in 1948, within a period of intense political transformation in the region.
