Bed - Gilt wood

This is an upholstered Barocchetto-style headboard in carved and gilded wood.
• It features elaborate decorations with volutes, floral and botanical motifs. The wooden structure is gilded and encloses an upholstery covered in fabric.
This is a gilded wooden frame, carved in walnut wood; it could be Italian or French. It has not undergone restorations and a board was placed behind to reinforce the carving, doing an excellent job. The fabric, of course, is not its original. The carving is probably 18th century, featuring rich carvings in the shape of grape clusters. The wooden structure is decorated with floral and botanical motifs, often associated with the Baroque.
