Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, year 1973, with approximately 93,000 miles, automatic transmission, burgundy exterior and camel leather interior.
Description from the seller
GENERAL:
This vehicle is a 1973 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow with approximately 93,000 miles on its odometer. It is a very original unit from the first series of this iconic model, which marked a historic milestone for the British firm as it was their first car with a steel monocoque chassis and self-supporting body. Mechanically, this 1973 version already incorporates the evolution of the brand's powertrain, consisting of the lightweight alloy L410 V8 and 6.75 liters displacement (6750 cc), paired with the prestigious three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission of General Motors origin with an electric column shifter.
CARROCERÍA Y PINTURA:
The bodywork is in good overall condition and shows no structural dents. The car has remained garaged throughout its life, which has protected the metal, although the passage of time has caused the paint to lose some of its original brightness. In terms of aesthetic details, the exterior shows multiple light touch-up marks on the doors caused by openings from adjacent vehicles, as well as some minor cracking that is hard to discern in the photographic report.
MECÁNICA:
Faithful to the brand's characteristic and refined behavior, this car offers a serene and quiet ride on the road. The automatic transmission shifts with total smoothness. The mechanical aspect stands out for its reliability, as the engine starts first time consistently, regardless of how long it has gone unused.
INTERIOR:
The cabin maintains a high degree of originality and is fully upholstered in camel-colored leather. All leather upholstery shows the natural patina derived from use and the passage of years, but it is free of tears, presenting only the normal wear over time. The fine solid wood panels of the instrument panel are very well preserved, maintaining a good shine and almost no visual defects, with the only exception of the driver's door wood, whose exterior varnish is cracked.
DOCUMENTACIÓN:
ITV current - registered as a Historic car.
RECOGIDA:
The car is physically located in Madrid, Spain. If awarded in the sale or auction, the buyer will have a free storage period of 20 days to manage and remove the vehicle.
OTRA INFORMACIÓN:
The vehicle's equipment is fully functional, as all electrical systems operate perfectly. This includes the power-adjustable seats, the electric windows, the lighting systems, and even its original electric radio antenna.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
