Description from the seller
An exciting opportunity for collectors of vintage kitchen items or anyone looking to add a touch of rustic, authentic warmth to their decor. This lot includes three vintage manual coffee grinders, each with its own unique character and history. All three pieces have been carefully preserved and display a natural vintage patina, with normal signs of use for their age that enhance their authenticity.
The lot consists of:
1. Antique Cubic Wooden Coffee Grinder (The oldest piece)
• Material: Solid wood (likely walnut or beech), metal for the mechanism and dome.
• Style: Early 1900s, with the classic cubic shape and the removable drawer for ground coffee.
• Details: Upper metal crank with a carved dark wood knob, dark metal dome. Features a circular stamp or logo still visible on the front of the wooden box, a detail of great interest to collectors confirming its origin.
• Condition: Gorgeous natural patina on wood and metal, normal signs of wear for its age. The grinding mechanism appears intact.
• Approximate Dimensions: Total height with crank about 20 cm, base 12x12 cm.
2. Vintage Terracotta Metallic Cylindrical Coffee Grinder
• Material: Body in terracotta/brown-painted metal, base and top in wood, crank with wooden spherical knob.
• Style: 1920s-1950s. A functional and robust design.
• Condition: Vintage patina and light wear on the metal paint, wooden elements in good condition. Original crank and knob.
• Approximate Dimensions: Total height with crank about 23 cm, base diameter 10 cm.
3. Vintage Cylindrical Grooved Coffee Grinder, Ochre
• Material: Grooved cylindrical body in ceramic or enameled metal in ochre/mustard color, wooden base, dark metal dome, crank with a longer lighter wood knob.
• Style: 1930s-1960s. A more decorative and stylized design.
• Condition: Body in ceramic/enameled metal in good condition with slight wear, patina on the metal dome. Normal signs of use.
• Approximate Dimensions: Total height with crank about 22 cm, base diameter 9 cm.
