Description from the seller
Very interesting and impressive figure made in agate, quartz, calcite and 925 sterling silver.
Work by the Spanish craftsman Amador Braojos.
Amador Braojos (Totanés, Toledo, 1947) — Aries.
He is a sculptor of minerals and precious metals, born in the province of Madrid, and he owns his own art school.
He said:
“Minerals are those primordial beings with a stone’s soul, in whose beauty life is lived and the memory of the earth is preserved.”
“Each mineral is unique, with its own characteristics. The creative eye is the one that discovers it and allows it to express itself. In that expression there is aesthetics and history.”
“Working with them means observing and letting oneself be guided, creating a space of dialogue between the mind and the object, to produce the emotion of discovery.”
