Italian ceiling lamp from the 1970s with hand-blown glass spheres and a chrome and brass frame, measuring 60 cm in height, width and depth, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
It's an Italian ceiling lamp from the 1970s that fully breathes that Mazzega spirit—or, at least, that aesthetic universe where artisanal Murano glass converses with metal structures of clean geometry and sculptural presence. Here, the blown glass globes are the soul of the piece: each sphere shows those internal ripples, tiny veins, and density variations that only appear when the glass is worked by hand, with the slow rhythm of the workshop and the furnace heat as part of the design. The finish, slightly amber and white, creates a warm and vibrant play of light that softens the bluntness of the structure.
The mount combines chrome steel and brass, a binomial very characteristic of Italian design of the decade: cold and warm, industrial and decorative, technical and sensual. The rectangular bars cross at different planes, almost like an architectural drawing brought into space, while the cylinders and brass joints bring that touch of discreet luxury that balanced the futuristic sensibility of the seventies. The result is a geometric yet fluid composition, where each globe seems suspended naturally, as if orbiting around the central axis.
It's a lamp that not only illuminates: it structures space, organizes it, modernizes it without ostentation and fills it with a light that recalls the most authentic Murano. An ideal piece for someone seeking historic design with character, artisanal quality, and a visual presence that remains contemporary.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
