Description from the seller

Jaguar - XJR 4.0 V8 Supercharged - 2000

GENERAL:

Thank you very much for your interest in this special Jaguar XJR. It concerns an original and very well-kept example, coming from a true enthusiast who owned the car for more than 15 years.

The car has always been driven in sunny Marbella (Spain), which has positively influenced the overall condition. This makes it an attractive and honest example for the lover of powerful British sport-limousines.

BODYWORK & PAINT:

The bodywork is in original condition and the paint presents very well. Recently the car was professionally polished by a car detailer, with a beautiful final result.

The chrome parts are in decent condition and underline the car's luxury character. The Jaguar sits on lovely alloy XJR wheels with good tires. Both the engine bay and the trunk are in cared-for condition.

The sliding/tilting sunroof functions properly and operates electrically as it should.

TECHNICAL:

Under the hood lies the powerful V8 Supercharged engine, which starts directly and runs very nicely. The car drives, shifts and brakes as it should.

Recently the car received a major service, during which the entire fuel system was cleaned. The brakes all around are in good condition.

The car offers the performance and comfort you would expect from an XJR.

INTERIOR:

It is one of the last models in this trim, which means this Jaguar is standard very well equipped ("full option"). Almost all conceivable options are present.

The interior is fully original and, given the age of 26 years, in a nice and well-kept condition. Of course there are light signs of use, appropriate to normal use. All original gauges and functions are present and work properly.

DOCUMENTS:

The car has complete Spanish papers and is easily registrable in Europe. Several inspection reports are available, which provides a logical build-up of the mileage. There are two keys.

PICK-UP:

The car can be picked up in Almelo. Viewing by appointment possible.

OTHER INFORMATION:

The chassis is fully original and, thanks to use in the Spanish climate, has remained in very good condition. This is an untouched and original example without modifications.

In short, a unique Jaguar XJR V8 Supercharged in original condition, with a nice history and coming from an enthusiast — a rare chance for anyone looking for a powerful and characterful sport-limousine.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
