A Collection of Six Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Spoons, Qing Dynasty (Jiaqing to Guangxu Period, 1796–1908)
This attractive collection comprises six Chinese blue and white porcelain spoons dating from various periods of the Qing Dynasty, ranging from the Jiaqing period (1796–1820) through to the Guangxu period (1875–1908).
Each spoon is individually decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and represents a variety of traditional Chinese motifs. The group includes examples depicting architectural landscapes with pagodas and pavilions, auspicious animals, floral designs, geometric borders, and decorative motifs. Together they provide an interesting study of the evolution of Qing export and domestic porcelain production throughout the 19th century.
All six spoons are in good antique condition with no significant damage observed. They have been carefully preserved and display the attractive blue-and-white decoration that has made Chinese porcelain highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
