Exceptional vintage Beni Mguild rug — woven by the weavers of the Middle Atlas — 340 x 180 cm

Vintage Beni Mguild hand-knotted rug by the weavers of the Moroccan Middle Atlas, an exceptional piece in a generous size and with a richly textured composition.

The entire surface is animated by a profusion of concentric diamonds in warm tones: red, burnt orange, pink, saffron and ivory, outlined in black which structures and makes each motif stand out. This tangle of diamonds, typical of the Beni Mguild style, creates an impression of movement and depth, like a vibrant mosaic of colors. The beautiful patina of the wool, a sign of its age, gives the whole piece these mellow, warm tones that define the charm of vintage pieces.

It is a true statement rug, rich and luminous, bringing soul and character to an interior, whether bohemian, vintage, eclectic or contemporary.
