Vintage Beni Mguild rug hand-knotted by the weavers of the Moroccan Middle Atlas. A exceptional piece, deep and refined, which appeals as much by its palette as by the finesse of its weave.
The background lights up with a superb raspberry purple, a rare and sumptuous color, on which unfolds a large composition of concentric diamonds. The pattern is teeming with details: specks of small multicolored dots, green, ivory, orange and blue, scattered across the surface and giving the wool a speckled, almost iridescent effect. In the center, medallions adorned with diamond motifs rhythm the composition with a beautiful symmetry. The patina of time blends these shades into a warm and deep whole, typical of the finest vintage rugs.
This is a piece of character, rich and elegant, that becomes the focal point of an interior, whether bohemian, vintage, eclectic, or contemporary.
