This impressive model of the Sovereign of the Seas (ca. 1637) is a true centerpiece for any maritime collector. With a length of more than 100 cm and an exceptionally high level of detail, it ranks among the more exclusive models of this iconic 17th-century warship.

This model is exceptional in this size, quality, and detailing. An item of this construction quality is rarely offered. The finish, ornaments and rigging are clearly the work of an advanced builder who practices the craft very professionally.

The model is based on the historical Sovereign of the Seas, the extremely richly decorated flagship of the English fleet. The real ship, built in 1637, was known as one of the most expensive and luxurious warships ever built.
