The design is inspired by Ole Kirk Kristiansen's typewriter, the founder of the LEGO Group, and moves and sounds like the real version. The middle type arm rises when you press a letter and is connected to the carriage that moves over the paper while typing. There is also a roll around which you can wrap real paper.

This typewriter was made by a LEGO fan, after which it was voted on by other fans.
The set includes a letter written by Thomas Kirk Kristiansen, a member of the fourth generation owners of the LEGO Group.

The typewriter is about 11 cm high, 27 cm wide and 26 cm deep. It is a gorgeous focal point for photographing and then sharing the photos with your friends.
