In perfect condition

The 685 (S1) is a much-praised monitor bookshelf speaker from Bowers & Wilkins, which partly makes use of technology previously reserved for the more expensive 800 series. For example, the 25 mm aluminium dome tweeter is placed in a housing originally developed for the groundbreaking Nautilus speakers.
For the mid and bass, the distinctive yellow Kevlar woofer with a diameter of 165 mm is used. The woofer delivers a surprisingly full and powerful bass for such a compact size.
At the front there is a bass port.
The speakers have impressive dynamics and a clear sound image.
The 685 has been awarded multiple times by renowned media such as What Hi-Fi?
