This item is a Tibetan prayer wheel adorned with gemstone mosaic. 
 A ritual instrument in Tibetan Buddhism to symbolically recite prayers and mantras and to spread them by spinning the wheels. 
 Inscribed with the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, which stands for compassion and wisdom. 
 Consists of one cylinder (wheel) that turns on a vertical axle, often placed on an altar or table. 
 The cylinder is made of copper, and the housing is decorated with inlaid stones such as turquoise and coral. 
 The cylinder is filled with prayer scrolls.

Dit voorwerp is een Tibetaanse gebedsmolen  versierd met edelsteenmozaïek. 
 Een ritueel instrument in het Tibetaans boeddhisme om gebeden en mantra's symbolisch te reciteren en te verspreiden door het draaien van de wielen. 
Gegraveerd met de mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, wat staat voor mededogen en wijsheid. 
Bestaat uit 1 cilinder (molen) die om een verticale as draait, vaak geplaatst op een altaar of tafel. 
De cilinder is van koper gemaakt, en de behuizing is versierd zijn met ingelegde stenen zoals turkoois en koraal
de cilinder is gevuld met gebedsrol.

A Nepalese bronze and copper Mani wheel prayer cylinder from the 1960s–1970s, handmade and in good condition with minor signs of age, measuring 16 cm high and wide and 9.5 cm deep and weighing 0.64 kg, decorated with inlaid stones such as turquoise and coral and featuring the Om Mani Padme Hum inscription.
