Pair of Chinese export porcelain blue-and-white mug and tea cup from the Qing Dynasty Qianlong period (c.1735–1795) made in Jingdezhen, with underglaze cobalt blue landscape decoration; mug 9.8 cm high with a molded handle and a hairline crack, tea cup 7.2 cm high with two hairline cracks.

Chinese Export Blue and White Mug and Tea Cup – Qianlong Period (1735–1795)
A charming group consisting of a Chinese Export blue and white mug and a tea cup dating to the Qianlong period (1735–1795).
Both pieces are finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue with elegant landscape scenes featuring pavilions, trees, water, figures and traditional Chinese architecture. The rich and vibrant blue decoration, together with the glossy glaze, reflects the high-quality porcelain production of the Qianlong era at its peak.
The mug is decorated with continuous river landscape scenes and features an attractive molded handle. The tea cup is painted with a similar waterside landscape, creating an appealing pair for collectors of Chinese Export porcelain.
