Pair of wooden bookends with deer. One of the two bookends includes a space for an inkwell, is signed Edmund Keller, and is dated 1945.

Provenance: the city of Pfalz (Germany)

Dimensions of each bookend: about 30 x 28 cm

They are in generally good condition for their age, with normal and slight signs of wear. It should be noted that some pegs are missing under the feet of the deer (see photo).
