International Silver Auction

Antique set consisting of a flint lighter in silver and a 5 pesetas coin of Alfonso XII, year 1875. The coin features on the obverse the king's portrait with the inscription “Alfonso XII Rey de España” and on the reverse the royal coat of arms with the legend “Ley 900 Milésimas — 40 Piezas en Kilog — 5 Pesetas”.

The lighter is semicircular in shape with ignition wheel and original wick preserved.

The ignition wheel functions correctly. Nevertheless, the full functionality of the lighter has not been tested.

Conjunto antiguo formado por un mechero de pedernal en plata y una moneda de 5 pesetas de Alfonso XII, año 1875. La moneda presenta en el anverso el retrato del rey con la inscripción “Alfonso XII Rey de España” y en el reverso el escudo real con la leyenda “Ley 900 Milésimas — 40 Piezas en Kilog — 5 Pesetas”.

El mechero es de forma semicircular con rueda de encendido y mecha original conservada.
