GENERAL INFORMATION
Fiat Panda 4x4 Sisley, produced in 1990 and first registered in Italy in April 1991, is offered for sale. This is the sought-after Sisley special edition, one of the most characteristic and collectible variants of the Panda 4x4. The car is finished in the original Verde Tropico 377/F color, which is associated exactly with this edition. The car has been imported to Poland, where it has been recorded in the vintage vehicle register.
BODYWORK AND PAINT
The car has been repainted in the original factory color Verde Tropico 377/F. According to the owner, the bodywork was in very good condition before painting, and today the car presents very well and retains its proper character. Mechanically, the vehicle has been prepared thoroughly, as the underbody was blasted, repaired at two local spots, and protected against corrosion, preparing it for continued use. The wheels were refreshed and repainted. Many exterior components important for the completeness of this specimen were replaced, including Fiat emblems, version markings on the front, rear and sides, original door and fender moldings, as well as the front and rear lights. The car’s completeness and the replacement of missing or worn parts with proper components are a significant asset of this vehicle.
TECHNICAL CONDITION
The scope of mechanical works performed is very wide and goes far beyond a standard service, aiming to prepare the car for normal, trouble-free use. A new ignition coil and spark plug wires were installed, the cooling system was cleaned, the alternator belt and all fluids and filters were replaced, including engine oil, transmission oil and rear axle oil. A new oil pan was installed, new gaskets where needed, and the electrical system and switches were checked and repaired. The suspension system was rebuilt extensively, resulting in new steering rods, complete shock absorbers, new axles with boots, new wheel hubs, brake disc guards, brake hoses and calipers. Complete assemblies of the front and rear shock absorbers with mounts, guards, springs, bearings and steering knuckles were replaced. The driveshaft was fully rebuilt, and play in the gear shift mechanism was eliminated using original repair kits and new moving parts. A new external gear cover was also installed, as an original part from Fiat. The 1.0 engine works with a manual 5-speed gearbox and four-wheel drive. The car also received a new intake manifold, new radiator with ancillary parts, a new battery, new dedicated tires, and set suspension geometry. Based on the scope of work performed, the car is ready for further driving as a specimen with a wide mechanical rebuild.
INTERIOR
The interior remains original and has been professionally refreshed cosmetically without unnecessary overhauls. A new original steering wheel dedicated to this version has been installed, imported from Italy. New knobs at the steering column and a new set of light switches have been added; the previous steering wheel is also included with the car. The vehicle is equipped with a Becker DTM High Speed radio in very good condition with documents and discs, and JBL Stage3 speakers have been installed in the original speaker housing. The upholstery, dashboard, and interior elements retain their original character, which increases the value of this specimen, as many of the trim pieces for this edition are now hard to obtain.
DOCUMENTATION
