Description from the seller
Elegant English-style bookcase crafted in solid mahogany, dating from the late nineteenth century. The piece is distinguished by a compact and well-proportioned structure, characterized by open shelves arranged on multiple levels with a central vertical division, ideal for displaying books and decorative objects.
The upper surface features a molded frame with a shaped edge, while the base is supported by four cabriole legs, finely shaped and ending with curved feet, a typical element of the English taste of the era. The warm tone of the mahogany and the clearly visible grain give the piece a refined and welcoming appearance.
The open structure on all sides makes it suitable for placement in the center of the room as well as against a wall, perfect for classic living spaces, studies or reception lounges. A piece with great charm, sober and elegant, capable of enhancing any environment with its discreet yet important presence.
