Elegant and refined English desk inkstand from the early years of the 20th century, made of silver-plated metal (EPNS) and composed of a substantial pierced tray, two cut-crystal inkwells with hinged lids decorated with floral motifs, and a central candle holder.
This type of object was intended for professional studies, representative offices, and the desks of noble homes, where it was used for correspondence and daily writing.
