Rare Neoca 35 (Model IVS) Rangefinder Camera (1950s, Japan) – With Original Leather Case & Lens Cap
Description:
For the connoisseur and collector of classic Japanese mechanics: a stunning and rare Neoca 35 Model IVS from the mid-1950s. Produced by the relatively small and short-lived Neoca Camera Co. in Tokyo. This specific model (IVS) is known for its high-quality, heavy metal build and the characteristic mechanical design.
The camera is equipped with a sharp Neoca Neokor 45mm f/2.8 lens and a coupled rangefinder. A beautiful detail is that this specimen is still complete with the extremely rare, original black plastic "Neoca" lens cap and the original, characteristically worn brown leather accessory case.
Details:
Brand: Neoca Camera Co.
Model: 35 IVS (Japan, ca. 1955)
Lens: Neokor 1:2.8 f=45mm
Includes: Original vintage leather accessory case and original Neoca lens cap.
Condition of the item:
The camera is cosmetically in very nice and well-kept vintage condition with light, authentic signs of use appropriate to its age (see photos for an accurate personal impression). The viewfinder is reasonably clear and the mechanical settings feel solid. The camera has not been test-fired with film. The included leather case has a beautiful, well-loved patina.
