Refined devotional work, this is a polychrome terracotta bas-relief that depicts the Madonna with Child in a sweet, classical composition. The work is set in a sumptuous frame in carved and gilded wood with polychromy, which enhances its sacred and precious character. The frame features decorative elements typical of the Renaissance. It is a wall sculpture, probably Italian manufacture from the 20th century and/or an earlier era.
