Thick marmite in lead-glaze terracotta, from a workshop in the southwest of France.
Thick glaze on the entire interior surface, with a spectacular overflow on part of the exterior of the body. 15 cm high and 19 cm in diameter. Some signs of use on the rims.
Estimated dating: 16th century.

Marmite épaisse en terre cuite vernissée à glaçure plombifère, provenant d'un atelier du Sud-Ouest de la France.
Épaisse glaçure, sur toute la surfaçe intérieure, avec débordement spectaculaire sur une partie de l'extérieur de la panse. 15 cm de haut pour 19 cm de diamètre. Quelques traces d'usage sur les bords. 
Datation estimée: XVI ème siècle.
