This antique dinnerware collection consists of asparagus plates from the renowned French manufacturer Longchamp, specifically the Velars model. These plates are terre de fer (fine earthenware) pieces hand-painted, characterized by a multicolored floral design and a cobalt blue relief border with arabesque motifs and acanthus leaves. All the plates are stamped with their authenticity registration.

Features: They have integrated compartments; the smallest one is usually used to serve sauces or melted butter that accompanies the asparagus.

These plates are exclusive for collectors and lovers of table art. They are not new, over 100 years old, retaining vivid tones in the pattern without breaks, with slight age patina tones in the varnish and cracking or chipping in compartments typical of their age and use.

They are antique asparagus plates made in Terre de Fer (ironstone) around 1915-1920. They feature a deep royal blue border in relief and very well-detailed hand-painted floral motifs.
They include a special compartment designed to place the sauce or butter when serving asparagus.
