You are bidding here on a vintage ceiling lamp by Glashütte Limburg, Germany.

Elegant Mid-Century / Space Age ceiling lamp manufactured by the renowned German lighting company Glashütte Limburg.

This model features a large smoked glass dome resting on a brass-coloured metal base. Inside the shade are three light fittings arranged around a central brass element, creating a striking sculptural effect and producing warm, atmospheric light when illuminated.
The combination of the translucent dome and reflective brass elements is characteristic of German lighting design of the late 1960s–1970s, influenced by Mid-Century Modern and Space Age aesthetics.

The company Glashütte Limburg, founded in 1945 in Limburg an der Lahn, quickly became one of Europe’s leading specialists in glass lighting, known for its exceptional craftsmanship and high-quality materials. Their luminaires were widely used in modern architecture and received numerous international design awards.

* Material : glass in warm amber color , aluminium in gold ( fits perfectly to Hollywood Regency Glamour style )
* Measurements: approx. 26x35 cm
* With patina and signs of age and usage belonging to the age
* Whithout golden mirror light bulbs
* For safety reasons during the transport, the glass element will be removed from the lamp and packed separately
* Please watch carefully all the pictures, they are also a part of description ( each one can be enlarged )
* I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, patina, chips, dents etc.

The lamp will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ).

IMPORTANT:
If, however, the item is damaged or lost, please contact me via the internal Catawiki chat.
According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation.
In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
