The Aklama fetishes are ritual objects of the voodoo cult used by the Ewe and Dangme peoples of Ghana, on the border with Togo.
They are generally materialized as small figures, animals, everyday objects, or chairs, in lightweight wood.
These statuettes are charged with interceding with the various deities called upon to grant believers protection, luck, and prosperity
throughout their personal and family lives as well as in their daily activities (hunting, trade).
