Gazelle Sewing machine - cast iron, Wood

Antique hand-cranked sewing machine from Gazelle from the early 20th century. Gazelle did not make these machines themselves, but they were mostly purchased in Germany and branded with their own name. This was the trademark of Sybe Baarda, who was based in Bolsward and from 1916 in Hilversum. The sewing machine features very fine ornamentation in various colors, both on the machine itself and on the base. It is sold with the accompanying cover, which also features beautiful details.
