This is an antique officer's telescope dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is characterized by a brass body covered in leather and extendable tubes, and it has a design reminiscent of the binoculars used by the French Navy. The inscription Jumelle Marine on the front metal frame confirms what we previously transcribed. From the photo, some signs of use are evident, but they do not impair the telescope's functionality.

Questo è  un antico cannocchiale da ufficiale risalente alla fine dell ottocento e inizi del novecento.E caratterizzato da un corpo in ottone rivestito in pelle e tubi estensibili ha un desainer riconducibili ai binocoli utilizzati dalla marina militare Francese .La dicitura Jumelle Marine sulla struttura metallica anteriore conferma quello che abbiamo trascritto precedentemente. Dala foto si evidenzia qualche segno a causa dell utizzo ma che non pregiudicano la funzionalità del cannocchiale.
