An exceptionally beautiful French Louis-Philippe chest of drawers in solid walnut with its original patina and two-piece construction (commode en deux corps), made in France around the mid-19th century.

The chest features four generously sized drawers and is distinguished by its balanced proportions, elegant lines, and characteristic fluted corner pilasters. The fronts display an attractive walnut grain, which is further enhanced by the patina that has developed over decades.

A remarkable feature is the two-piece construction of the chest. The upper and lower sections can be separated, which significantly facilitates transport and is typical of high-quality French furniture of this period.

The back panel is made of old solid wood boards, emphasizing the authenticity and age of the piece. The original escutcheons are intact.

This chest of drawers is suitable for both classic and modern interiors and represents a prime example of 19th-century French furniture craftsmanship.

Außergewöhnlich schöne französische Louis-Philippe-Kommode aus massivem Nussbaumholz mit originaler Patina und zweiteiligem Korpus (Commode en deux corps), gefertigt in Frankreich um die Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts.

Die Kommode verfügt über vier großzügige Schubladen und zeichnet sich durch ihre ausgewogenen Proportionen, die elegante Linienführung sowie die charakteristischen kannelierten Eckpilaster aus. Die Fronten zeigen eine attraktive Nussbaum-Maserung, die durch die über Jahrzehnte gewachsene Patina besonders zur Geltung kommt.

Ein bemerkenswertes Merkmal ist die zweiteilige Konstruktion des Korpus. Ober- und Unterteil lassen sich voneinander trennen, was den Transport erheblich erleichtert und für hochwertige französische Möbel dieser Epoche typisch ist.
