“Pictures,” a photo collection by American photographer Herb Ritts. While working at his family’s furniture store, he became a photographer after taking portraits of his friend Richard Gere. He later made a name for himself by shooting the cover for Madonna’s “True Blue” and capturing portraits of numerous celebrities both in the U.S. and abroad. This book is primarily composed of portraits of famous artists taken mainly in the 1980s, including Madonna, Diana Ross, Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone, Jack Nicholson, and Helmut Newton. Published by Twin Palms, the book design is by the well-known Jack Woody. Limited to 6,000 copies.
