Description from the seller

Some used, others still in their original packaging, all stamped

This is a beautiful selection of Christofle-branded serviceware and serving accessories, all in high-quality hallmarked bright-silvered metal (metal argenté).

1. Model Identification (Pattern)
Looking at the overview (second photo), three main styles of the Christofle tradition stand out:
- Fidélio (or Uni) Pattern: Characterized by clean, smooth, sober lines, with the rounded end of the handle.
Pieces present: The two large serving spoons in the center and the main knives.
- Rubans Pattern: Louis XVI style, elegant, decorated with a filet edge and a crossed ribbon (bow) motif typical of the era.
Pieces present: The fork and the coffee spoon still sealed in their original plastic on the left of the central group.
- Perles Pattern: One of Christofle’s great Louis XVI classics, adorned with a delicate raised semicircle of pearls along the edge of the handle.
Pieces present: The large serving spoon on the right (still wrapped).

2. Analysis of Individual Pieces
Three-prong long fork (First and second photos)
- Function: This is a carving or scaloppine fork (serving fork for meat). The slim three-tine design helps securely spear meat pieces during cutting or serving.
- Detail: The handle has a baluster-shaped contour that connects to the tines, typical of important serving pieces.
Corkscrew / Lobster cracker (Last photos)
- Function: A corkscrew (or usable for lobster/crab claws).
- Hallmarks and Inscriptions: Shows the clear inscription CHRISTOFLE FRANCE accompanied by the modern balance mark stamped in a square (used since 1983 for plating) and a small geometric mark (a triangle). It comes complete with its original green Christofle box.
Knives
- Detail: The blades bear the standard laser-engraved mark CHRISTOFLE FRANCE. The sharp transition between the handle (often hollow) and the stainless steel blade guarantees a perfect cut over time.

3. Study of the Hallmarks (Poinçons)
In the macro photos you uploaded, two different eras/types of Christofle hallmarks are visible:
The modern hallmark (Detail photo in the square with the
"2")
- This hallmark shows a stylized number 2 inside a square, paired with a small symbol.
- Meaning: It is the typical hallmark system introduced by Christofle in the second half of the 20th century (specifically from 1983 onward). The number indicates the silvering class or a factory code specific to that piece (often related to knives or hollow-handle pieces), ensuring the authenticity of the modern piece.
The classic hallmark (Photo of the large spoon)
- Here you can see the inscription CHRISTOFLE in a rectangular cartouche, topped by the oval hallmark containing the balance with the four stars, the letters CC (Charles Christofle) and the crown on top.
- Meaning: This is the historic hallmark for Christofle silver plating (poids d'argent) used for much of the 20th century. The presence of the linear inscription beneath the symbol is synonymous with excellent quality and places the production of the piece (the Fidélio spoon) in an era earlier than the corkscrew, probably around the mid-1900s.
